The journal Ricerche di S/Confine seeks to be a meeting point and a place of encounter for various professional tendencies and inclinations, without any ideological or methodological limitations. Its aim is to promote multidisciplinary and collaborative approaches among various research experiences. The journal is published by the Department of Arts and Literature, History and Social Studies at the University of Parma.

Crossing the Borders: Italy and Croatia between the 20th and 21st centuries is the second issue of the journal Ricerche di S/Confine, a result of cooperation between the Department of Arts and Literature, History and Social Studies at the University of Parma, and the Museum of Contemporary Art Zagreb. It is dedicated to the Italian-Croatian relations in the period from the early 20th century until the present day. However, it does not seek to offer a systematic analysis, but rather to single out particular cases and transmit individual testimonies in order to raise various methodological questions and to map the exchanges and dialogues between these two geographic and cultural regions.

MoRe. a museum of refused an unrealised art projects

MoRe is a digital museum for unrealized and rejected artworks, launched two years ago by Elisabetta Modena and Marco Scotti. The museum collects and exhibits in its virtual space only those projects that were created for particular situations and specific circumstances, yet were not realized owing to some technical, logistic, ideological, financial, moral, or ethical reasons.

The Museum’s website contains a digital archive of all the projects, a space for temporary exhibitions, and a section dedicated to essays and critical interventions. The new version of the website will be presented at the Museum of Contemporary Art Zagreb, along with its most recent acquisitions.
